The stock we offer is generally owned outright by BSC. We don’t simply broker other people’s stock.

Graded gold coins are at the heart of BSC.
We focus heavily on coins independently authenticated and graded by leading grading companies such as NGC and PCGS. Independent grading provides important reassurance around authenticity and condition, while population data can provide a clearer understanding of the rarity of individual pieces.
Our wholesale activity also gives us visibility beyond our own customer base. We see what is being bought, sold and requested across the wider industry and maintain close relationships with experienced numismatists who can provide additional specialist insight.

After more than 13 years in the market and over 25,000 coins sold, we have built an extensive customer database and long-standing relationships throughout the coin industry.
We maintain strong relationships with companies we buy from and sell to, both within the UK and internationally.
Combined with the number of coins we have previously supplied to customers, this gives us multiple avenues for sourcing particular coins, including pieces that can be difficult to find elsewhere.
BSC never guarantees that we will repurchase a coin.
However, over the last decade, we have successfully purchased many multiples of millions of pounds worth of coins back from our customers.
Our private retail, e-commerce and wholesale channels give us multiple potential routes when assessing resale opportunities, rather than relying solely on our own retail customer base.

Once our annual accounts are finalised, our customer paperwork clearly states BSC’s average margin across completed business for the previous financial year.
We’re a commercial business and naturally need to make a margin, but we believe customers deserve openness about how we operate.

Speed of delivery is one of our greatest strengths. Purchases completed and paid for during the week can be arranged for Saturday delivery.
BSC also works with Malca-Amit, a specialist in secure logistics, for the secure storage of BSC-owned inventory and the delivery of customer purchases.
This gives us the infrastructure to securely handle purchases across a wide range of values.
BSC does not, and never has, stored customer-owned goods on behalf of customers.
We believe that when somebody purchases a physical asset, they should take physical delivery of it.
If a customer independently decides that they would prefer professional storage, we can introduce them to a number of established third-party storage providers with locations throughout the UK and help direct them through setting up their own account.
Any storage relationship is completely independent of BSC and directly between the customer and their chosen provider.
Not every customer wants the same relationship with their gold dealer, and we understand that.
Some customers want regular conversations, new-stock opportunities and one-to-one support.
Others simply want to make their purchase and be left alone.
We’re comfortable with both.
Our approach has always been consultative and relaxed. We’ve had customers speak to us, decide not to purchase and then contact us themselves months — sometimes even years — later.
There’s no need to force a relationship. We would rather build one naturally.
